Welcome to the Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership website.

The Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership (WPP) was founded in 2007 by Helen Rowlands and Mel Ovens - two experienced UKCP Registered psychotherapists who have been working in Cardiff since the mid 1990's. Between them they have 50 years experience in psychological services and training. They joined together to form The Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership to give a focus for quality provision of psychotherapy, supervision and therapeutic counselling training in South Wales.

Helen and Mel work with a team of counsellors, therapists and psychologists to provide a range of Psychotherapy Counselling, Brief Intervention Work, EAP support, Supervision, Consultancy, Life and Executive Coaching.

Please note this website has had some technical problems and we will be rebuilding a NEw look website for 2012. If you notice any information that is still out of date, please contact the staff at WPP Limited so we can email you the upto date stuff.

Services at WPP:

The Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership is an independent Training Institute. WPP currently offers vocational qualifications in Integrative Psychotherapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Supervision to Advanced Diploma Level and Continuing Professional Development Events.

In 2010, we continued to develop our training portfolio - aiming to provide a programme with a clear progression route of Counselling training from Introduction to Counselling through to Masters level. including both a  Counselling Certificate and a Diploma of Relational Developmental Therapeutic Counselling.  Further WPP psychotherapy courses are validated by ScPTI : an organisation which is a full member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and therefore provides accredited training enabling our graduates to enter the UKCP national register of professional psychotherapists. We also work with UKAPC to support registration for those who have trained in Psychotherapeutic counselling. Our entry level courses lead to recognised credits via Agored Cymru for whom we are a recognised centre.

We accept applications throughout the year for the Diploma of Integrative Psychotherapy, Diploma of Gestalt Psychotherapy and Diploma in Supervision courses. Current  courses in 2012 to 2013 also include Introduction to Counselling Skills and Theory and  The Advanced Diploma of Relational Centred Counselling (recruiting for both years 1 and 2).

We also offer an exciting CPD programme. All our trainings will take place in South Wales.

Rooms to hire to Psychotherapists and Counsellors at reasonable rates.

We are centrally located with access to the train stations and bus services.
